Abundant Life Care Center in Hiawatha is closing

February 15, 2011- The Kansas Department on Aging has completed a survey at Abundant Life Care Center in Hiawatha, Kansas. Due to violations of state laws and regulations cited by agency surveyors, the facility has agreed to surrender its license.

Abundant Life Care Center will remain open for the next 30 days as residents are moved out of the facility.  The owner is responsible for helping families place residents in other care settings.
