Briarcliff Care Center fined $10,000
The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) has imposed a $10,000 civil monetary penalty on Briarcliff Care Center, 3224 Southwest 29th St., Topeka.
The fine resulted from violations which significantly and adversely affected the health, safety, nutrition or sanitation of the adult care residents of the facility. The violations were identified in a survey on October 3 and 4, 2007.
The facility has the right to file an appeal.
