The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) has imposed a civil monetary penalty of $2,500 on Sunflower Manor Home Plus, 2833 Bethany St., Kansas City, Kansas.
KDOA staff inspected the adult care home onJune 20 and 21, 2006, and determined that the facility had violated rules and regulations established under the adult care home licensure act and that those violations resulted in, caused or posed serious physical harm to residents in the facility.
The facility has the right to appeal the assessment.
