The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) has imposed a $2,500 civil monetary penalty on Marquis Place, 205 West 21st St., Concordia.
The fine resulted from violations which significantly and adversely affected the health, safety, nutrition or sanitation of the adult care residents of the facility. The violations were identified in a survey completed May 14-20, 2005.
Marquis Place has the right to appeal the penalty.
