The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) has been notified that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have imposed a $7,000 civil monetary penalty on Eudora Nursing Center, 1415 Maple, Eudora.
The fine resulted from violations which significantly and adversely affected the health, safety, nutrition or sanitation of the adult care residents of the facility. The violations were identified in a survey concluded June 1, 2005.
KDOA conducts the facility surveys, but the federal agency imposes the fine.
