The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) has issued an order prohibiting new admissions to Chaucer Estates, East 21 st St. North, Wichita. The ban became effective Dec. 23, 2004 following a survey of the facility on Dec. 6 through Dec. 8, 2004. During the survey, the facility was cited for deficiencies which significantly and adversely affect the health, safety, nutrition or sanitation of the adult care home residents.
