The 2011 Workforce Enhancement Grant is for the provision of educational programs. The objective of the grant program is to improve the quality of life and quality of care for residents in licensed nursing homes and long term care units of hospitals by aiding in the development of ongoing statewide educational programs for unlicensed and licensed staff employed in these facilities. Grant proposals are accepted in the fall and the grant period begins January 1 of the following year.
