2008 Governor's Conference on Aging Services

The 2008 Governor’s Conference on Aging Services theme, “Life’s a Dance,” will set the stage for a diverse array of educational opportunities on programs and services available to Kansas seniors and those who support and promote their well-being.  Sessions will also be available to assist participants in planning for a healthy and financially secure future.

This conference brings together national and regional experts in the field of aging services from organizations, government and academia.  This year, we are excited to have as our keynote speaker Dr. William H. Thomas, a physician and author with a special interest in aging and the elderly.  Dr. Thomas, founder of the The Eden Alternative™ and Green House Project™, has published numerous books, including his most recent What Are Old People For? How Elders Will Save the World, hailed by the NY Daily News as an “Electrifying new book . . . as revolutions go, this is one we’ve all been waiting for.”

These professionals, along with over 60 exhibitors, will provide information on the latest products and services available to the 800 Kansas elders and aging services professionals expected to attend.

We invite you to support this beneficial conference and receive numerous promotional benefits for your organization.
