Special Projects Grants are designed to provide either education or training for the prevention or awareness of elder abuse, neglect, exploitation or fiduciary abuse of the elderly. Through an annual request-for-proposal process, KDOA grants the funds to a variety of agencies and organizations. The 2009 grant period is August 2009 through July 2010.
